Change or Cancel Your Order

Unfortunately, you cannot amend an order after it has been placed. If you wish to change or cancel your order please contact us on (08) 8388 3279 Monday and Friday between at 9:00am to 5:00pm (Australian Central Standard Time) or email order@griffinwines.com.
 
You may check your order status. If the order status is 'Order being processed' , please contact us to confirm whether there is still time to modify or cancel your order if that is what you wish to do. Every attempt will be made to accommodate your request, however unfortunately no guarantee can be given once an order has been placed.
 
If your order has already been processed, you may still be able to return your order, which can be done easily via Australia Post*

  1. What makes up a case?
Delivery charges are on a per caseˆ basis. Minimum delivery of one case (or part thereof) applies.
ˆA case may consist of up to 12 mixed bottles of any wine

  1. Delivery details.
We self deliver and use  Australia POST for deliveries. Other delivery partners may be used for large orders (greater than 10 cases), customers will be advised if this is the case.
 
If you are not at home at the time of delivery, an ‘Article Awaiting’ card will be left in your mailbox. This card will advise the next steps required to obtain delivery of your order. Your order will not be left with persons under the age of 18 years (proof of age may be required).
 
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday. If we are in stock of your items at time of picking, we aim to dispatch your order within 3 business days.
 
Due to postage restrictions, goods exceeding 70% ABV (alcohol by volume) are not available for delivery.
 
Griffin Wines’s reserves the right to limit the number of products purchased to retail quantity limits.
 
Australia POST drivers are not able to call on approach.
 
Each order may only be sent to one delivery address. If you need to send products to more than one delivery address please place a separate order for each delivery address. Once an order has been completed you are not able to change the delivery address. Please contact us on (08) 8388 3279 or order@griffinwines.com and if the order has not been dispatched we may be able to update the delivery address for you.
 

  1. Why do we ask for I.D?
Griffin Wines’ supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. You can purchase Griffin Wines’ products online and have your order delivered to your home or office. Due to Licensing Laws you must be over 18 years of age in order to place and receive a delivery. For further information regarding Liquor Licensing please refer to the licensing section of the Terms and Conditions. We may ask you to provide additional details or require you to confirm your details to enable us to process any orders placed through the Site.

Free Delivery only applies to products delivered within South Australia or where specifically stated in the product description.
 

  1. Returns and refunds.

We do not accept Personal Cheques or Business Cheques for online sales. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
 

 
Returns and Refund Policy

Our Returns Policy includes the rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (see below) and provides you with additional benefits in addition to those rights, because your satisfaction is important to us.
 
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
 'Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.'
 
If in the event your purchase is faulty, damaged, wrongly described or breaches a consumer guarantee we will cheerfully refund your money or exchange the product upon presentation of your proof of purchase. If your purchase incurred a delivery fee, then we will cover the cost of delivery for the return*.
 
The fastest way to obtain a refund or exchange is contact Griffin Wines directly on (08) 8388 3279 between Mondays and Fridays at 9am to 5pm (Australian Central Standard Time) or email order@griffinwines.com.
 
In the event that your product must be returned to us, please allow 5 business days for your refund to be processed after the product has been received by us.
 
If in the event that you change your mind then is contact Griffin Wines directly on (08) 8388 3279 Monday and Friday at 9:00am to 5:00pm (Australian Central Standard Time) or email order@griffinwines.com. Exchanges are possible at Griffin Wines’ discretion. For exchange of a delivered product, unfortunately additional delivery charges will be incurred at your expense*. Please note that all products must be in their original condition and packaging.
 
* Please note that the delivery charge will be reimbursed when Griffin Wines’ is at fault. That is, if the wrong product is delivered or there is a fault with the product (including any damage caused in transit). In all other circumstances, including change of mind, the delivery charge will be deducted from the refund to the customer.
 
** Proof of purchase must be provided to obtain a refund, limits may apply, all exchange products must be in their original condition and packaging.

Information relating the Liquor Licensing Legislation and Griffin Wines’ Online is contained below.
 
Wine sales are made under the South Australian Liquor Licensing Act 1997, Section 113, the sale of liquor pursuant to the agreement to sell from this website is made at our licensed premises attached to the licence numbers listed below. Your contract of sale is with Griffin Wines as the liquor is sold from our website. Accordingly, your offer to purchase is subject to acceptance of your offer by the holder of the liquor licence, certification and evidence of you being over 18 years of age, the availability of stock and the liquor which is the subject matter of your offer being ascertained and appropriated at the abovementioned licensed premises.
Liquor must NOT be supplied to persons under 18.
