To be honest 2009 was a tough year. With high temperatures making it at times difficult to manage vine canopies the resulting fruit is surprisingly good. It’s a year marked by lower yields, boosting quality and flavour complexity. Our Sauvignon Blanc was harvested in early March with the Pinot Noir coming off shortly afterwards. Our Shiraz and Merlot left for a little longer and showing great promise now that they are in the barrel.
